Michael Thomas Strahan, Sr., 59, of Lubbock, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was born in Galveston, Texas on March 29, 1957. He married Irene Sturm, June 23, 1984. Michael graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering. He later started his own business, BSA Consulting Engineers in Lubbock, Texas Michael was a fun loving, hard working man who kept us all laughing non-stop. He was an amazing brother, husband, son, grandson, and most of all an incredible father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Irene Catheryn Strahan of Lubbock; their children, Michael Thomas Strahan, Jr. and his wife, Leah, and Jenna Marie Strahan; grandson, Michael “Trip” Thomas Strahan, III; mother, Myrna Bogle Baldwin and husband Charles Baldwin; siblings, Wesley Randall Strahan, Jr., Retired Chief Petty Officer, Wendell Neil Strahan, John “Ted” Theodore Strahan and wife, Jennie, and Shari Strahan John and husband, Randal Brent. Mike is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather for fellowship and remembrance on Saturday, July 23, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.
