Josephina was born March 5, 1933 in Alamo, Texas to Francisco and Rosa Deanda Garibay. She married Segundo Marruffo June 21, 1955 in New Mexico. Josephina was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Segundo; children, Nora Marruffo, Harvey Marruffo (Raquel), Cindy Alvarez (Roger), Joe Marruffo, and Jennifer Marruffo all of Lubbock. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chris, Amber, Isiah, Matthew, and Megan; siblings, Thomas Garibay of Mcallen, Anita Gonzales of Lubbock, Gilbert Garibay of Lubbock, and Frank Garibay of Houston.
