David Michael was born on September 7, 1977 to Rick and Betty Ziegenfuss Claybrook in Muleshoe, Texas. He graduated from Frenship High School, 1996 and earned a Master's Degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University 2001. On December 8, 2001 he married Kami Austin in Lubbock, Texas. David was employed as Chief Financial Officer for Stanley Auto Group for the past three years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving spouse, Kami and their son, Jack Nickolas Claybrook of Wolfforth. He is also survived by his parents, Rick and Betty Jo Ziegenfuss Claybrook of Wolfforth; sister, Amanda Beth Claybrook of Wolfforth; father and mother-in-law, Galen and Peggy Austin of Lubbock; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Minnie Ziegenfuss of Muleshoe, Texas; paternal grandmother, Donna Claybrook of Vernon, Texas; two nieces and five nephews
