Phil was born March 21, 1945, in Rotan to the late LM and Dortha (Davis) Reep. He graduated from Anton High School, where he played basketball, was part of the team that won regionals in football, and went to state in track. Phil was the happiest when he was on a tractor or a horse. Farming and team roping were Phil’s passions. He farmed and worked in custom hay baling in the Ropesville area until his retirement. He married Regeana Nowell Morris on June 9, 1995 in Clovis, NM. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Regeana; a daughter, Shelley Reep of Midland; a son, Cody Reep and wife Jill of Ropesville and their mother, Jacque Reep of Ropesville; two step-sons, Shelton Morris of Lubbock and Sean Morris of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Rick Reep and wife Darla of Morton and Tim Reep and wife Diane of Green River, WY; a granddaughter, Riley Reep and three grandsons, Randen Reep and Bryan and Zackary Morris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Phil was also preceded in death by a sister, Janice Hall and a brother, Dewey Reep.
