I.C. Patel was born and raised in Gujarat, India; after extended stay in England, I. C. settled in Lubbock in August 1977. Throughout his personal and business life, I.C. was guided by his dedication to family and community service. A deeply religious man, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Premiben I. Patel and daughter Mahalaxmi Patel and is survived by his sons, Harendra “Henry” I. Patel and Subodh I. Patel of Lubbock and Mahesh I. Patel of Plano and daughter Kailash N. Patel of Merced, CA and ten grandchildren.
