Obituary:
Grant Blocker was born Oct. 9, 1995 in Lubbock to Alex and Sandra Blocker. He attended Waters Elementary School and currently was an 8th grader at Cooper Middle School. A born leader, Grant had a great sense of humor and loved to joke. He was a gifted musician and played the Bass Guitar and Saxophone. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing on his families golf team at the yearly church tournament. Grant was a member of Church on the Rock. Those left to cherish Grant’s memory are his father, Alex Blocker and wife Cheryl; mother, Sandra Blocker; a brother, Bobby Bewick all of Lubbock; two sisters, Angela Wilcox and husband Michael of Laverne, OK and Erin Blocker of Lubbock; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Sammie Hancock of Lubbock; great grandmothers, Bertha Hancock and Louise McClanahan of Brownfield and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his dogs, Cosby, Lady and Grif. We would like to thank all of our friends and family from Yellow Book and Church on the Rock for your acts of kindness and love during this time.
