Sue, the youngest of three children was born on Oct. 30, 1942 in Amarillo to the late J.D. and Ollie (Chamberlain) Green. Sue grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School. After graduation she graduated from Draughn’s Business College. Sue started dating Eddie Bilderback in high school and they married on April 14, 1962 in Amarillo and shortly after moved to Lubbock. Sue worked for Alderson Cadillac for 24 years, retiring in November 2009. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and The Singing Women of West Texas. Sue loved music and travelled over the United States, Canada and Europe with the Singing Women. She also enjoyed the outdoors, riding her horse, Matthew and writing poetry.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 48 years, Eddie Bilderback of Wilson, four children, Edie Suzanne Williams, Eric Bilderback, E’Lise Vest and Evan Bilderback; four grandsons, Dustin Bilderback, Shawn Williams, Willie Vest and Taelor Bilderback; a brother, Jerome Green and wife Jody and a sister, Wanda Erickson and husband Lanny.
