Our precious angel, Brandon ( Bubba) Muniz, 22 of Lubbock went to be with the Lord Dec. 29, 2009. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Bubba’s life at 3:00 p.m. Friday Jan. 1, 2010 in Lake Ridge Chapel, 6025 82nd Street.
Brandon was born Oct. 27, 1987 to Eddie and Catherine Muniz. At 3 months old he suffered with an ear infection that traveled into the brain & developed into Meningitis. Bubba attended Magean Elementary and currently was in the LISD homebound program. He worked hard with his teacher, Brenda Martin and was to receive his diploma at the end of 2010. Bubba loved music,balloons and blonde headed pretty girls.
Those left to cherish Brandon (Bubba’s) memories are his parents; a brother, Gavin Muniz and wife Miranda; three nieces, Heavin, Gabrielle and Braeley Muniz; maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Alonso and husband Pete; paternal grandmother, Kathleen Martinez; paternal grandfather, Paul Mercado and wife Raquel and their daughter, Jennifer; aunts and uncles, Connie Lopez and husband Oscar, Adam Alonso and wife Isela all of Lubbock, Joe Resendez and wife Kacheena of Tahoka and George Muniz of Oklahoma City, OK; and 15 nieces and nephews.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Domingo Loredo and paternal grandfather, Cosme Muniz.
