She will reunite with her parents L H Welch and Beulah Leah Welch, and with her brother Nathan Lee Welch in heaven. She is survived by her children Sharon Redden and her husband Robert of Lubbock, son Kerry Siewert and his wife Elaine of San Angelo, grandchildren Scott Redden and his wife Sonya, Kimberly Hodges and her husband David, Leah Sierakowski and her husband Josh, and Heather Siewert, great-grandsons Preston, Carter, and Tyler Hodges, great-granddaughter Haley Redden, sisters June Sales and husband AJ, Twila Meador and husband Al, Jill Ramsey, Buena Adcock and husband Carl, and brother Leslie Welch and wife Patricia and a host of many nieces, nephews and other family members.
After graduating from Texas Tech University with a masters degree in Education, Aileen enriched many lives during the 35 years of teaching in Ralls, Crosbyton and Muleshoe. She retired in 1984 to be a loving mother, sister, grandmother “Memaw”, and friend to many. She was always a servant to others putting their needs before her own. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, attending Texas Tech Sport Events and was famous for her “Scotcheroo bars!” Aileen loved the Lord and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock.
