Bob was born on December 19, 1926 to the late Robert and Mary Magdalene (Meyer) Collier in Granbury. Bob served in the US Army during WW II. After discharge from the Army, Bob moved to Lubbock to work for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. It was at the telephone company he met his future wife, Dorothy, who was a telephone operator at the time. Bob married Dorothy Tullar on Aug. 23, 1947 in Lubbock. He worked as an Automotive Specialist until his retirement in 2007. Bob loved to work on and repair cars. He could repair almost anything. He was a member of Parkway Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Louise Collier on Dec. 28, 2007.
Bob is survived by his children, Bobbie Arocha and husband Fred, Dr. Michael Collier and wife Sonja and Debbie Beaudoin and husband Donnie all of Lubbock; grandchildren, Odell Arocha, Chelsi (Collier) Conklin and husband Paul, Danni and Koty Beaudoin all of Lubbock, and Swenda Collier of Austin; brother, Don Collier of Granbury, and sisters, Kathleen Buxton of Granbury, and Margaret Sparkman of Lubbock.
