Mrs. Watts was born on July 7, 1925 in McAdoo, Texas to Samuel Walter and Anne Elizabeth Miranda Garrett Stephenson. She married Barney Lee Watts on June 25, 1945 in Spur, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1978.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Lou Ann and Ray Whitworth of Spring, Charles and Geri Watts of Victoria, Christine “Mickey” and Rex Parks of Round Rock, and Beverly “Bubbles” and Jack Wilhite of Ropesville. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Her namesake and niece, Robena Tooke and her spouse Jerry, and friend Wanda Boyd also survive her. Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, five brothers, and one grandson.
