Written Appreciations

It’s true that gratitude makes life rich, for both the one expressing the emotion, and for the receiver. It’s also true that every time we read the words written in thank you cards and letters sent to us by the families we’ve served, we experience nothing less than heaven on earth. We invite you to take the time to read just some of these words of appreciation.

Santos....

I can't sleep, and wanted to share my thoughts.... About everything that YOU, and Lake Ridge Chapel have done for us!

As I'm watching Daddy's "Life Tribute", and his "Celebration of Life"... You have helped us create a fitting tribute to my Father's life! We wanted this to be fitting to him!

Thank You...!!!

I know YOU have dedicated your life, and a career to Family's such as ours! What you have created is a reflection of your wisdom, and what you believe are Family's needs... In this time of need.

I wish my Father had met you!

Little things, such as when I asked.. "When are you going arrange the flowers" ... You told me, "We can do that now"! It was an honor to be a part of arranging them with you, allowing me to be part of his service. You also asked me to share in raising his banner, in your Chapel with you! In your own way, to let me raise my Father, for all to see!!

What a tribute you gave me to be a part of his "Celebration of Life"!

I have often thought about you working late Saturday, and your call late that night.... "Don't watch the video now..... I'm redoing it..!!" That call reaffirmed your commitment to your dedication!

You and LeeAnn are a perfect team..!! Please thank her for me. I know I'm very anal, and a pain! I'm sorry! There is no training to say 'Good Bye' to my Father.

Lake Ridge Chapel helped us, and my Family thru this journey!

Thank You Again..!!!!

My Best To Both Of You... And, God Bless You...!!!

Scott Mullican... and from ALL my Family...!!!!

Dear Lee Ann,

I know you've heard this multitudes of times, but "Thank You" just doesn't cover it! Words simply cannot express the gratitude we feel for all the many things you did for us, helped us with, and guided us through, with so many arrangements having to be made in such a short time.

With no other experience to compare this to, I was still able to tell that you take great pride in your work, and it showed. We greatly appreciated your professionalism, decorum, your vigilant attention to ever the smalles detail, and the way you got to know us so well in such a short time that you seemed to anticipate, at times, what we wanted, or more importanlty, what mom would have wanted.

I must add that the doves were such a wonderful surprise and couldn't have been more appropriate and special to us, especially for Sheila.

Your help throughout this difficult time is greatly appreciated and won't be forgotten.

The David Finley Family

LeeAnn,

I can say enough on what you done for my dad. Uz would be happt I know, I sure am. Vicki & you & your staff was so good to us during this time. Don't know what I would have done if God didn't talk to me to help my dad with his services. Lee An, ua are special person I will never forget you. When sometimes I don't have any plans & your place is not busy I will come see you & give you a apecial hug. Well, I will close for now before I start to cry a little. God Bless you & I Love you in Christ.

Larry Luttrell & the Luttrell Family

Dear Santos,

Thak you so much for your professionalism and kindness, and the gentle way you handled a very tragic time in our lives. We appreciate every thing you did more than you can know.

Sincerely,
The Andrew Miller Family

LakeRidge Chapel,

Thank you so much for taking care of our precious girl with the wonderful visitation and candle light vigil. The doves were an awesome tribute and the banners and slide presentation made it easier because we could see our baby as she was in life.

With deep appreciation -
the Vines Family

The Crose family of Les Crose was very please with everything at Lakeridge Chapel. The personel was wonderful, the building is so beautiful, slate rooms, are roomy & very nicely furnished.

My family from here in Lubbock & out of town family & guest were impressed. They loved the refreshment bar. It made them feel so much more comfortable, & ***** that don't see each other (except at funerals) were enjoying the refreshments as a place to start conversation  get to rest.

After the funeral LeeAnn has been to see me (wife of Les) three times to make sure I was happy & doing OK. That meant a lot to me!!!!

The dinner they have once a month for the widows is so helpful to us ging thru the same situation. I think this is so caring. I hope they continue this kind act of love

Other people are so amazed that Lakeridge Chapel does so much for the families they have served.

No other chapels here does anything like Lakeridge does. Oh yes the doves were wonderful - Compliments were great from those that attended

Thanks again,
Virgie Crose & Famly

Santos,

Thank you so much for providing the opportunity for the "Widows Group" to attend "Hello Dolly." It was a most enjoayable evening.

Also, the dinner meetings each month are much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Judy Drake

P.S. I'm still singing Hello Dolly.

Dearest Leighann,

I just wanted to write you a note of thanks. To say thank you just isn't words enough for all you did for my Mother and my family. I know you feel that you were just doing your job, but you did so much more. You are amazing at what you do. It takes such a special person to do your job and you do it with such dignity and grace and put all those around you at such ease especially at such a difficult time. You went above and beyond.

Thank you for the doves. What a beautiful memory. I will always remember that and I will always remember you.

All My Love and Thanks,
Sheila Finley

To the Lakeridge staff,

A special thak you for the $300 gift card. I shared equally with my sister and sister in law that came with me so we were all blessed through your generousity.

Bless you all!
