Russell Martin Arbogast Jr.

Russell was born on May 8, 1958, to the late Russell Arbogast, Sr. and Margariette (Corey) in Dallas, TX. On February 18, 1978, he married his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, his best friend, and his soulmate, Connie Crawford, in Dallas, TX. Russell was a loving husband. He was an amazing father to his three children, the best Pepa to his twelve grandkids, and a loyal friend to many. Russell was a man of strength, a man of character, a GREAT MAN altogether. He was a man of faith; the only time you would see him wearing a tie was at church. Things will never be the same without him. There is a hole in many people’s lives that will be impossible to fill. He was truly one of a kind. Russell was the owner of Panhandle Deli Provisions, a distributor of Boar’s Head and one of the hardest working men you would ever know. He was a man that you would never hear say, “I can’t” or “I don’t know how,” he always found a way. Boy, was he hardheaded. He was the backbone of his family, and the man that loved to make you laugh. He was a man that loved to ride his Harley motorcycle. He was a man that loved to go to his land in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, with his wife to just get away from it all. He loved just being in the mountains where he could always find peace from a life that was sometimes too stressful. He went on great adventures with his OMG boys and his closest friends, made memories, and lived his life to the fullest. There was never a place he went where he didn’t leave a footprint. He was an amazing man, one of the absolute best. There was none like him. God must have known our need for him. He may not be on this earth physically, but he is here in spirit. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Russell is survived by his wife, Connie Arbogast; two sons, Russell Martin (Amanda) Arbogast, III, and Ryan (Jessica) Arbogast, a daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Brisco; and twelve beloved grandchildren, Austin Arbogast, Natalie Arbogast, Malakhi Brisco, Kiarra Arbogast, Mace Arbogast, Patyn Arbogast, Zakery Arbogast, Kinsley Arbogast, Jaxon Arbogast, Addison Arbogast, Major Brisco, and Skye Brisco.
