Ronnie was born on January 19, 1943 to Carl and Dorothy (Cantrell) Hall in Canyon. He graduated from Cotton Center High School. He was a cowboy at heart and competed in team roping. He married Donna Shackelford on May 1, 1964 in Plainview. Ronnie and Donna lived in California where Ronnie worked as a carpenter until his retirement in 1988 due to an injury he suffered on the job. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union in California. Ronnie lived in Missouri for several years where he was able to ranch and raise horses, before moving to Wolfforth in 1997. Ronnie was very family oriented and planned and hosted family reunions and 4th of July celebrations at his home. He was very active in his granddaughters’ lives and attended all of their activities. Ronnie enjoyed gardening, hot rod cars and was a sports enthusiast. He coached his son’s baseball and football teams and was passionate about teaching them his carpentry trade. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Hall. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his mother, Dorothy Hall of Wolfforth; three sons, Shannen Hall (Robin) of Monett, MO, Randy (Janet) Hall of Wolfforth, and James Hall (Julie) of Boerne, two granddaughters, Renee Hall, and Carlee Hall of Wolfforth, five siblings, Shirley (Donald) Gilmore of Wolfforth, Nancy Burkhart of Wolfforth, Garland (Kathy) Hall of Woodland, CA, Lisa (Glenn) Nall of Wolfforth, and Lori (Andrew) Kelley of Irvine, CA, also brother-in-law, Robert (Edie) Shackelford of Prosper, and a sister-in-law, Ausetta Kiser of Princeton that he loved like a brother and sister.
